The International Relations Office of UTCB recently organized an event dedicated to international students, with the participation of students enrolled in the Romanian Language Preparatory Year (APLR).

The event aimed to promote cultural diversity and foster intercultural dialogue, providing an open academic framework for cultural discovery, exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of connections among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The event featured distinguished addresses delivered by:

The event also welcomed representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Romania — Dana Gavril, Project Manager, Alexandra Marcu, Social Counselor, and Georgiana Ilinca, Legal Counselor — who highlighted the role of IOM in supporting migrants and international students in Romania.

A significant contribution to the success of the event was made by the students of ASCB – the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Bucharest, who organized an interactive networking activity designed to facilitate integration and strengthen the sense of belonging among international students within the UTCB academic community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants and organizers for their engagement, openness, and support. The International Relations Office, together with the entire UTCB community, remains fully committed to supporting international students and to enhancing a meaningful and impactful academic and cultural experience.

This event was organized by the International Relations Office within the framework of the project CNFIS-FDI-2025-F-0693 – UTCB – REPER3: European Excellence in Education and Research in the Field of Construction, Target Area 2 – Increasing the Degree of Internationalization of Higher Education in Romania.
