Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest (UTCB) offers auxiliary teaching and administrative staff the opportunity to participate in international staff training mobilities through the Erasmus+ KA131 Programme. These mobilities support the expansion of international cooperation, the exchange of good practices, and professional development through structured training activities.
Staff training mobilities enable auxiliary teaching and administrative staff to take part in professional development activities such as job shadowing, workshops, training courses, and other educational events, including International Staff Training Weeks. The primary objectives of these mobilities are to enhance professional competencies and to foster international collaboration between higher education institutions.
Maximum duration of the mobility: 5 days

Individual support may also be granted for one travel day before the activity and one travel day after the activity.

Staff members opting for green travel may receive up to four additional days of individual support to cover travel days for a round trip, where applicable.
The selection calendar, communicated by the Erasmus+ Office to faculties and coordinators, includes the following stages: establishment of the selection committee, submission of applications (3 weeks), selection process (3 days), and resolution of appeals (1 day).
The selection of auxiliary teaching and administrative staff for training mobilities is carried out centrally by UTCB. Calls for applications are generally organized during the following periods:
Each call specifies the number of available mobility grants for each type of mobility, with a maximum duration of 5 days.
Selection periods may vary depending on the structure of the UTCB academic year and on the application deadlines set by partner universities. The September–October call is mandatory and takes place every year, while the February–March call is supplementary and is organized only for grants remaining unallocated after the first call.

Appeals may be submitted to iro@utcb.ro within 24 hours of the publication of results and will be reviewed by the appeals committee.
Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in an Erasmus+ mobility. After the completion of the selection process, you may begin preparing for your mobility.
You will be contacted by email by the staff Erasmus+ mobility coordinator to prepare the mobility file and to sign the financial contract.
Upon completion of the mobility, participants must submit the certificate of participation signed and dated by the host institution, supporting travel documents, and the online report on the European Commission platform.
