Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB) offers teaching staff the opportunity to participate in international mobilities through the Erasmus+ KA171 – International Credit Mobility (ICM) program, with partner universities outside the European Union (e.g., Western Balkans, Eastern Neighbourhood, Asia, Africa, Latin America, etc.).

Under KA171, teaching staff can participate in the following types of mobilities:
Teaching mobilities allow UTCB teaching staff to deliver lectures, seminars, or other teaching activities at partner universities outside the EU.
Duration of the mobility: Between 5 days and 2 months (excluding travel days).
Activities include: Lectures, seminars, workshops, co-teaching, contributions to study programs, etc.
Purpose: Improving the quality of education, exchanging teaching methods, and developing international cooperation.
For teaching mobilities, a Staff Mobility Agreement for Teaching is signed, which establishes objectives, content, and expected outcomes.
Training mobilities aim to provide opportunities for professional development through activities at partner universities or other relevant organizations in eligible KA171 countries.
Duration of the mobility: Between 5 days and 2 months (excluding travel days).
Activities may include: Job shadowing, observation, training placements, workshops, thematic training sessions, exchange of best practices, etc.
Purpose: Developing pedagogical, digital, intercultural, and academic management skills.
For training mobilities, a Staff Mobility Agreement for Training is signed, establishing objectives, content, and expected results.
