About Erasmus+

What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s Program in the fields of education, vocational training, youth, and sport for the period 2021-2027. The program provides participants of all ages with the qualifications and competencies needed to actively engage in democratic societies, understand intercultural diversity, and successfully transition to the labor market.

What does Erasmus+ do?

Erasmus+ offers opportunities for study, training, and learning both within Europe and beyond its borders. The program helps individuals develop key skills such as language proficiency, digital skills, and knowledge of other cultures. These abilities are essential for active participation in society, finding employment, and adapting to a rapidly changing world.

Key Objectives of Erasmus+

Building Stronger Communities
Through international cooperation, Erasmus+ helps individuals improve their skills, reduce early school leaving, and support all forms of learning, whether formal, informal, or non-formal.

Inclusive Education
Erasmus+ supports all citizens, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, and migrants, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn and progress.

Encouraging Civic Engagement
The program helps participants become more involved in society by providing knowledge about European values and encouraging them to participate in democratic life.

Skills for the Future
Erasmus+ emphasizes the development of future-oriented skills, such as digital competencies, innovation, and sustainability. It also supports education in areas such as climate change, clean energy, and artificial intelligence.

Environmentally-Friendly Projects
Erasmus+ promotes ecological practices and encourages participants to consider sustainability and environmental issues.
