EU-CONEXUS doctoral education showcased at CIVIS Days 2026
EU-CONEXUS was proudly represented at CIVIS Days 2026, hosted by the University of Bucharest in June 2026, through the participation of Anca Mărgineanu, EU-CONEXUS Institutional Coordinator at UTCB.
The event brought together representatives of European university alliances, higher education institutions, researchers and policymakers to exchange ideas on the future of higher education, research and international cooperation in Europe.
As part of the programme, Anca Mărgineanu presented a poster highlighting EU-CONEXUS initiatives dedicated to PhD candidates and early-stage researchers. The presentation showcased the alliance’s ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in doctoral education by creating opportunities for international collaboration, interdisciplinary research and academic mobility across its partner universities.
The poster also reflected EU-CONEXUS’s broader mission of supporting the next generation of researchers through innovative doctoral training and a strong European research ecosystem.
By engaging with colleagues from across the European Higher Education Area, EU-CONEXUS continues to strengthen dialogue on innovative approaches to doctoral education while contributing to the development of a more connected, collaborative and forward-looking European research landscape.
Participation in CIVIS Days 2026 reaffirmed EU-CONEXUS’s commitment to advancing high-quality doctoral education and fostering meaningful partnerships that support research excellence across Europe.
