EU-CONEXUS Minor and Microcredential Graduates Honoured at the UTCB Excellence Awards Gala 2026
On 22 April 2026, UTCB celebrated academic achievement, innovation, and student engagement during the Excellence Awards Gala organized within the 10th edition of ConstructFEST, one of the university’s landmark academic and professional events.
Over the years, ConstructFEST has become a reference platform for dialogue between academia, industry, public institutions, and students, promoting excellence in engineering education, research, sustainability, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The anniversary edition of the festival brought together members of the academic community, industry representatives, institutional partners, and students in a celebration of performance and future-oriented education.
Within this distinguished framework, UTCB recognized the graduates of the EU-CONEXUS Minor and Microcredential programmes, students who chose to complement their academic training through a European educational pathway founded on interdisciplinarity, international cooperation, and innovation.
At UTCB, excellence is understood not only through academic results, but also through intellectual curiosity, initiative, and the willingness to engage with educational opportunities beyond the standard curriculum. Participation in the EU-CONEXUS programmes reflects precisely these values, encouraging students to develop international perspectives and transversal competencies relevant to the challenges of contemporary society.
The awards were presented by Estefania Brănescu, Minor & Microcredentials Officer at UTCB and herself a graduate of both EU-CONEXUS Minor programmes, highlighting the university’s strong institutional commitment to the European educational experience promoted within the alliance.
